Talking More About Introversion

Hello friends,

I don't think it's any secret that I'm an introvert. After all, I co-hosted The Introvert Sisters podcast with my sister Lisa, releasing 78 episodes in two and a half years.

Surprisingly, though, some people still doubt it, because they see me doing things, and the popular perception is that introverts are cowering in corners, afraid to face the world. Nothing could be further from the truth; it's just that we want to choose how we face the world, and to do it in a way that doesn't deplete us.

I've been talking more about this on LinkedIn. In the last week, I shared a video tip, my feelings on the push to have cameras on in virtual meetings (hard pass), and a strategy I use to carve out alone time at busy events.

I'm also running an introversion masterclass on November 19th where I'll share info on:

✨ Why introversion is a strategic advantage (not a career liability)

✨ The "Introvert Love Languages" that actually recharge your energy

✨ Three boundaries introverts can set today without guilt or lengthy explanations

✨ How to build real influence without being everywhere all the time

If you're an introvert yourself, check it out. If not, feel free to share with someone who is. I've also instituted a "buy one, sponsor one" ticket - to allow purchasers to gift a ticket to someone who's on a tight budget.

Hope to see you there,

Sharon
