I'm Back - Here's What's Up

Reintroducing Sharon Hurley Hall's Other Newsletter

Hello friends,

I'm announcing the relaunch of my personal newsletter. You're getting this email because you were subscribed to it when I was still using the Substack platform.

As many of you know I took both my newsletters off that platform because of its not so tacit support for neo-Nazis, and immediately transferred my anti-racism newsletter to beehiiv. It's been a busy year, which is why I'm only just getting back to this one.

Before I get into what you can expect, let me catch you up on the past year (some of you who are subscribed to my anti-racism newsletter will already know this).

  • I completed my part of a 9-month engagement with a large US non-profit in January

  • I launched the audiobook for I’m Tired of Racism in February.

  • I started working with a business coach in May.

  • By the end of June, I'd left Mission Equality.

In the last several months I've created a newsletter creation course (it'll be running live for the last time in November), restarted my thought partnership service, and launched an anti-racism community.

Anyway, back to this newsletter. It's going to be a mix. While I doubt I'll create any new stuff on writing, all the old stuff is there (and I do mean ALL, going back to 2006 if you can believe it). It’s the same for travel. I may well write some new tech reviews (I have one in the works) and I'll update you from time to time about what's happening in my world).

It’s hard to say how often this will come out - given how busy I am, it’s unlikely to be more than monthly at the start.

So here's what I need from you - if you've forgotten who I am or you're no longer interested, go ahead and hit the unsubscribe button.

For everyone else, hang tight, I've got a piece on my flirtation with personal knowledge management coming soon.

Thanks for sticking with me so far,

Sharon
