I probably should stop promising to do stuff

(because some of it never happens)

Hello friends,

Yeah, I should probably stop promising to do stuff. Last time I emailed I talked about writing about Panama and TickTick, but that never happened. As it turned out, I was too busy doing other things. Does that happen to you?

One of those things was having cataract surgery, with the result that I have 20/20 vision for the first time since I counted my age in single digits. I still need reading glasses, but the rest of the time, I don't, and it's a whole new world, brighter and clearer than ever. I've already drafted a piece on that so you may see that soon.

The Panama Experience

However, I can keep my promise about Panama a different way. I talked about it on the What Sharon Said show, as well as in my anti-racism newsletter, so check those out to hear about my experience.

As for TickTick, I've been too busy using it to review it, so that's on hold for a while.

Courses

I've just finished another successful run of my self-publishing masterclass. I plan to make that available for streaming soon, but in the meantime, I've shared my self-publishing checklist on a PWYW basis.

I also started a new email list just to update people on courses and events. As a bonus, it also allows me to try out Kit.

The newsletter is going really well - I now have 5700+ subscribers, and I've just released my fourth annual Top Voices list.

Today only, I have a special "subscribe like it's 2020" offer on annual subscriptions.

I've been working on some learning journeys based on the newsletter, too - watch this space!

Support For Introverts

I ran a very successful Self-Expression Day (that was what I settled on for the immersion day for introverts I mentioned last time). My client felt seen and supported and they were able to finish the content project that had been stalled for a while. I'm looking forward to working with more introverted women leaders in this way - if you're one of them, reply to this email for details.

I also have a group offer for introverts coming up - the first group is no more than 10 people and I already have 8 interested, so let me know if you want details.

Final Thoughts

Having extended time off was really useful, both because I needed the rest, and because it gave me clarity about what I want to work on in the future. I'll share updates with you as I make those tweaks.

How's your summer starting?

Thanks for being here,

Sharon
